I've ordered a vehicle which has forward/backward and 'spin left/spin right'
I plan to control it with a Jetson Nano which is like rasberri pi but more powerful. Point is I'll use 3.3v GPIO for signal control.
currently, my plan is to get two 'solid state relays' that I can switch with gpio signal. then I will just pull the wires out the the foward/back spinleft/spinright controls. and connect them to the relay.
With this, I should be able to do rudimentary control.
Question 1: Do I need high amp relays to control these 'switches' or are they already using some kind of relay so it will be low current? (ie, what relays do I need)
Question 2: How could I pull power (up to 20 watts 5V) from battery into Jetson (or is it not worth it?)
Question 3: Am I missing something? I grabbing 2 relays controlled by gpio, and connecting them to the wires that go into the controls not going to give me control of the vehicle?
Here is the vehicle

here is example relay:

but the relay above says max load: ≤5A 250V AC or ≤5A 30V DC
What parts to make direct control override with rasberri pi/jetson nano (relays)
