Vintage Peg Perego Trike

I know nothing about this one except that it's Peg Perego brand. It has a "Falcon" decal across the front mud guard. My guess is that it was 6v due to single motor and single speed. It has a forward/reverse switch on the center tunnel, and has a gas pedal and a "brake pedal". The "brake" only interrupts the gas pedal and doesn't do anything to actively slow it down.

I'm going to restore this one and add a second motor to give it some gusto.

Right now on 18v it has serious traction problems and actually scoots along pretty good.

Does anyone know anything about this? Would love to get any more information about it. Google has returned nothing.
