FAQ- Calculating proper wire guage

Post by TerryInLeesburg »

Found this neat online tool:

http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It shows what gauge of wire is needed based on the amp consumption. At the bottom of the page is a calculator that will help you see voltage drop, etc. and choose the best AWG size.
