What I am doing this week: BSU Jeep #2

Post by gwinnythepooh »

This was a special order.
I used my Krispy Jeep (Jammin Jeep)
Never Again. Never Again. Never Again.

Here is where I am at. Its been a long week of painting. Luckily I have sold 4 pw's this week (not counting this one)

Changes I made to my paint process this go round, and I like it so far.
Switched to Rustoleum 2X Plastic Primer, and 2X paint Love.
Rustoleum 2X clear
I wet sanded between coat 3-4 of color and wet sanded after coat 3 of clear 1 hour after last coat and then cleared again. got same glass effect as waiting a week. The paint turns out AMAZINGLY better with wet sanding between coats!! Disclaimer-- you really need to know what you're doing...not for the novice painters.

I was supposed to deliver this a week ago, but because the whole state of Idaho is on fire...our air quality is horrible. So it set me back on painting ALOT!

This WAS a special order that fell thru.
Still sold for $300 less than a week later.

So my town has this Facebook selling page, it's amazing. People fight over my machines, and everyone sees comments by others, so that means zero bargaining. Everything's sells for asking price ;)

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!..........Out of somebody's garbage

I'm trying to get out of PWs.........That idea's not working out real well......

My time on MPW is limited these days. I'm trying to check in everyday.....please be patient when awaiting responses.
