Kstorm's Lambo

Post by Kstorm21 »

This is the Barbie Lambo I got for $20 after a lot of frustration from the seller my father was finally able to pick it up. Looks pretty decent. I know the side mirrors are missing so I'll pick those up. I'm not sure how the tires are on it. Does anyone know if I can replace the front and rear vents on mine. It's an older one and only has sticker for them. Can anyone see if anything is missing?

Actually, I am fairly positive that is a NEWER one as PWs tend to have less features as they age. I had this exact same one and it had motors with metal pinions, which is what leads me to believe these are newer versions. I never pulled the stickers off, but I seem to remember feeling for the holes for the clips on the vents. You'll also not have clear plastic covers on the gauges, no wiper, and possibly no rear lenses (I think mine had them, actually). Mine didn't have rear view mirrors either. Looks like the passenger side headlight cover might be missing. Hard to tell from the photo.
Wife said to get a hobby that involves the kids. Guess that backfired on her!

That sounds about right. I thought someone said it was an older one. Oh well, no big deal. The rear lenses are you talking about tail light covers?

yeah, they are T shaped. I have/had two Lambos so I might be getting them confused, but on one of them, the person that originally put it together put the taillight stickers on the outside of the lenses, not underneath.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet, but the pink will probably go.
