Looks like the seat needs recovering as well. I used this stuff when I recovered an ATV seat for my son: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CT ... 05_s00_i00

It's holding up really well. It stretches on nicely and no tears or fading yet. It's always garaged though. One yard at 54" is more than I'll ever need. It's certainly cheap enough.

Yes, I already recovered the seat, I own a sewing business so this was exciting to me to get to work with real fabric! I basically got the same stuff but white, I paid $1.94 for it. I still need to hit it with the heat gun to have the wrinkles lay out toward the front but I didn't feel like doing that last night.

Front Fender. Maybe I'll paint other 2 pieces on Thursday.
FYI: I used foam craft stickers for the stars. They worked great and were so easy to peel off because of the foam!

The red looks ashy so after 2 days I will wetsand and re-clear final coat (per 2X can guidelines)

You should try covering some jeep seats with fabric for some extra "wow" in your other builds. :D

I'm trying to get out of PWs.........That idea's not working out real well......

That's going to be your best looking themed ride yet Gwinny. I think you could sell more rides using this theme than you could even make. You need to make a few ahead of the 4th of July maybe add the head of a Bald Eagle and voila a $400 ride that would sell in less than an hour around that time of the year ;)

I'm jealous of you guys; you just have the coolest flag in the world. Ours is very nice but not in comparison to yours :(

Lots of body work. This piece was in a really rough shape. I mean not just like baked from the sun, but actually melted. These MX body parts in plastic are a different plastic than pw. Its thinner and less forgiving.

Image

The white has been done, stars applied and white stripes taped off. Red is baking by fire, then I'll tape off red, uncover the rear and do blue rear fender. Body will be done today but no assembly... :?

This is sooooooo unlike me right!!!!

Its been sitting for a week and half now. That red paint really threw me over the edge. Lol.

Just kidding,, been swamped with sewing orders this week and haven't been able to work on any pw's. AGH!

back at it today. I need my husbands help to paint the frame, blocking stuff off... then we'll get it put back together.

Alright, I've made you wait long enough... The problem, is pictures don't do it justice. :? Its pretty cool. I just need to (because I was unaware it had it) I need to recover the bar in front with white vinyl and have Evel's signature put on it in red... I'll do that later.

Thanks, I am actually not selling this one though... It takes up so little space and its kinda the next step for my kids so we'll keep it. We also aquired a 24V scooter at the time.
