They are both 6V batteries so should not alter the performance in any way.

Is the new battery charged ?

Well im getting bored of waiting now, parcel left the USA ages ago and it's now in the less than capable hands of the UK postal service..

Getting impatient now but we have terrible weather anyway so the lad has not asked to go out in it :)

Yeah i have come to the conclusion that it's not worth the hassle at this point.

Will just install a high low speed switch after the relays for now that is accessible by me only so little fingers cant fiddle with it.
