im not able to find it atm, but theres someone on the forums here that did just that, in a f150 tho. they used a lawnmower rear end, pnumatic tires and chain driven scooter motor to power theirs. and from the video it does great with 2 kids in it, in grass.

as far as i know safty first corvettes gear boxes fit. but you may also be able to buy the whole gearbox from kid trax too. i havent tryed that part.

if the suspention is the same as a jeep, you can look in my post here on my r/c jeep. i welded a couple of bushings in the steel cross bar and it made it nice and firm.

my suggestion would be to copy a jeeps suspention to scale. or add springs to the tie rod to drag it to center. only problem is, you will have to fight harder to turn it with springs

you can get 18 volt cordless batterys but you would be much better off getting a new 12 & 6 volt batterys. it will save you headakes and be much safer. you can recharge them with either an 18volt scooter charger or a car charger that does both 12 and 6 volt
